Hobby is for personal, non-commercial projects only; not for running a business or commercial SaaS. On most quotas, exceeding the free allowance stops the affected feature until the usage period resets. Pro features and its 14-day promotional trial are separate.

Credits are shared across production deploys, web requests, bandwidth and compute. The ongoing $0 Free plan is distinct from any promotional credits; overages/auto-recharge can result in charges if a paid add-on is enabled (auto-recharge is disabled by default). Legacy account terms may differ.

One concurrent build per Free account; 20-minute build timeout. Pages Functions consume the separate Workers quota (100,000 Free requests/day with 10 ms CPU time each), not unlimited backend compute.

GitHub Pages is not allowed as free hosting for an online business, e-commerce site or commercial SaaS. Deployment builds time out at 10 minutes; default Pages builds have a soft limit of 10/hour (not applicable to custom Actions publication).

Spark needs no payment method. The 360 MB/day Hosting transfer quota is not a recurring monthly bandwidth allowance; other Firebase products have separate free caps. Firebase App Hosting and its billed resources are not available on Spark.

For hobby/personal projects; no SLA or Standard-plan features. Free includes 0.50 GB storage overall with a 0.25 GB maximum size per app deployment. When bandwidth quota is exceeded, the site cannot be served.

Static sites do not use Free web-instance hours, but share workspace bandwidth and pipeline-minute quotas. If you add a payment method, excess outbound bandwidth or pipeline minutes may be billed; without one, Render restricts service/builds until the next billing period.

No payment card or automatic sleep on the Free plan, but resources are shared and capped at 0.25 vCPU, 128 MB RAM, 250 MB disk and 10 Mbit/s. At the 100 GB monthly account transfer limit, apps stop until the next month or a plan upgrade. No independent uptime guarantee; not a dedicated VPS.

A Free web service spins down after 15 minutes without inbound HTTP or WebSocket traffic; waking may take about a minute. Its local filesystem is ephemeral and no persistent disk is available. Excess bandwidth/build minutes can be billed if a payment method is on file; otherwise services or builds are suspended. Not for production.

Not available as a free signup for new users: Koyeb's February 17, 2026 announcement requires new registrations to choose Pro or another paid plan and provide a payment method. Existing Starter organizations retain their free plan; do not treat this as a new-user free tier. Paid plan subscription/overage charges apply; instance regions, scale-to-zero and persistent-volume restrictions still apply.

Railway Free is $0/month; its $1 recurring credit does not roll over. New users initially receive a one-time $5 trial grant that expires after 30 days or when depleted; trial accounts can have restricted outbound networking until verification. Trial stateful volumes may be deleted 30 days after credit expiry. Monitor resource usage and billing before upgrading.

Free resources are metered independently across applications, egress, CPU and memory; idle apps shut down after about 20–30 seconds. Pro/Builder tiers add higher limits and usage charges; Free does not include unrestricted always-on compute.
