Important restrictions
You must supply and pay for your own GCP/AWS instances, storage, networking, DNS, or bare-metal hosts; this is NOT free hosted compute. Above 16 total worker-host vCPUs, existing machines continue running but the cluster refuses new machines until capacity is reduced or a paid license key is installed. Installer code is Apache-2.0, but downloaded boxd binaries/images are separately licensed under PolyForm Internal Use with restrictions: personal use and a company's internal operations are permitted; redistribution is prohibited. Workers require KVM/nested virtualization; clusters send hourly usage telemetry.
Independent community listing, not affiliated with the provider. Always check the latest billing policy and quotas before enabling paid usage.
