Important restrictions

Application and business eligibility review required; startup must operate where Azure is supported and must not be Series C or later, a consultancy, agency or other excluded entity. Credits increase only with verified progress and Azure adoption. Microsoft documents show inconsistent starter-credit examples; do not assume a fixed initial award. Third-party marketplace and some model charges may not be covered; monitor paid Azure usage.
